I did it!

I made my favorite cake from Whole Foods - the Berry Chantilly cake. For the longest time I couldn't figure out the frosting - then Katie's mother in law Cindy discovered the missing ingredient, mascarpone cheese. So, here is a picture of my favorite creation so far!! Happy Birthday Ally :O)

It looks delicious--although I truly have no idea what mascarpone cheese is! (And I'm even an avid "Top Chef" watcher!)

By the way, your music list has several of my all-time faves: Amos Lee, G. Love, Jack Johnson, and Jason Mraz. Very choice. :)

Hi, Cherie, gorgeous cakes! I found you through a Google search for "berry Chantilly" cake--one of my favorites. I've quizzed the local Whole Foods baker about the receipe, but I can't get much out of her. Do you happen to have the recipe on hand that you'd be willing to share? I'm getting married soon, and I'd like to have this as our cake. What a treat for our guests! Shoot me the receipe if you could, and consider it one very, very good deed for the day! Thanks so much.
